Viking Ghosts of Solway Firth
The western border of Scotland with England ending in a mountainous region in which the Irish Sea comes as a wedge. Este brazo de mar que penetra en tierra británica se llama Solway Firth , y algo debe de tener su agua, porque, según dicen, es escenario de pintorescas apariciones y curiosas leyendas marinas. This arm of the sea that penetrates British land called Solway Firth, and something must have their water because, as they say, is the scene of quaint and curious legends marine appearances.
It has one of those legends that long ago, during the distant era when Scandinavian engulfing the shores of the British Isles, two Danes were pirates to give their drakkars to Solway Firth. Las panzas de los barcos ya rebosaban oro y joyas, por lo que sus capitanes decidieron fondear allí y proporcionar a su gente una merecida noche de descanso. The panzas of ships already rebosaban gold and jewels, and their captains decided to anchor there and give its people a well-deserved night's sleep.

The inhabitants of Solway Firth welcomed the wreck as an act of divine justice. No villager never dared to approach the apparitions, until a thousand years later, in the early eighteenth century, two boys attempted it in a small boat. When they were almost level with him, drakkars sank during a weekend, dragging with them the launch of the two youths.
